How God Has Used Me
Community Impact Director
Restoration Community Church
Denver, CO
May 2018 - present
Established a robust Host Team that had waned to a casual group of uninspired volunteers of 50 to 180 fully on board members and newly equipped leaders.
Similarly reinvigorated those committed to prayer, forming an actual team of 20 with vision and direction to serve on weekends especially.
Led the Community Impact Team of 25 paving efforts to serve with our church to ministry partners locally in Denver.
Provided support and leadership to the Global Team serving India.
Director of Admissions Nebraska Christian College Omaha, NE
December 2012 - August 2016
Led culture change and new sales orientation, pointing to the vision and mission of the school.
Helped rebrand the newer vision of the school.
Recruited future leaders for the church and mentored many.
Convinced parents and students to consider ministry as a viable path vocationally.
Director of Operations
Discovery Christian Church Broomfield, CO
January 2017 - April 2018
Launched a First Impressions team, growing from 30 volunteers to 200+.
Created a new church culture around guest engagement and vision/values within the ministry.
Brought alignment and leadership development to the paid staff (facilities, finance, HR, master plan, & administration) I was overseeing.

Helped launch this non-profit with my husband, providing oversight and assistance in shaping it.
Our purpose is to help churches launch and sustain residency programs and to recruit and vet quality candidates for ministry long-term.
Volunteer Leadership
1992 - Present
I've started and led numerous small groups at Southside Christian Church (Harrodsburg, KY) and Central Christian Church and The Crossing Church (both in Las Vegas, NV).
I've served on Worship Teams at these churches and was the Creative Arts Director for Women's Ministry (Central Church).
I've led prayer teams and started new ministries, as well.

I'm highly inspired by vision and tend to be a go-getter in driving the goals of that mission.
I tend to have a glass half-full optimism that helps positively influence those I lead.
Celebrating mediocrity is a pet-peeve of mine. Instead, I aim to elevate expectations of excellence on the team for Kingdom purposes.

STRATEGIC - I thrive with big picture ideas and am able to translate those into possible action items for my team and for the organization as a whole.
COMMUNICATION - is a strength I continue to try to develop for vision-casting and encouraging others
ARRANGER - Effective event-planning is one area where this strength can be used fully, and I believe it is absolutely essential for any ministry.
ACTIVATOR - I love working with teams, maximizing others' strengths, often recognizing their potential and being able to speak into that, helping them explore new opportunities.
